With the W205, the C63 swapped the large naturally aspirated V8 of the previous generation for a 4.0 twin-turbo V8 with its turbochargers inside the vee, keeping rear-wheel drive and the full-bodied voice AMG enthusiasts know well. It was offered as the C63 and as the more powerful C63 S.
For the Mercedes-AMG C63/C63 S (W205) Sedan/Coupé/Estate (2015-2022), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
