With the G30 saloon and G31 Touring, the seventh-generation 5 Series raises the level of comfort and on-board technology once again. The 520i and 530i use the B48B20 2.0 turbo four-cylinder, which keeps these versions economical without making them feel lazy.
For the BMW 520i/530i (G30/G31) B48 Non-OPF Sedan/Touring (2017-2024), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, carbon and gold. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
