The M440i is the most powerful G22 4 Series Coupé below the M4: a 374 PS B58 3.0-litre turbo straight-six, a 48-volt mild-hybrid system and, in Europe, xDrive all-wheel drive. It headed the range at its 2020 launch; this page covers cars with a gasoline particulate filter.
For the BMW M440i (G22) OPF Coupé (2021-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver and matte black. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port.
