The F95 X5 M is the third generation of BMW M's high-performance SUV, unveiled in October 2019. The S63 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 delivers 600 PS, 625 in the Competition, with xDrive all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic: a car weighing well over two tonnes that reaches 100 km/h in around four seconds.
For the BMW X5 M (F95) OPF (2020-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in matte black, carbon, blue coated and chrome silver. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
