The five-door F20 and three-door F21 are the last 1 Series built on a rear-wheel-drive layout, before the F40 switched to front-wheel drive in 2019. From 2016 the 120i and 125i use the B48 2.0-litre turbo four from BMW's modular engine family, with 184 and 224 PS: nimble hatchbacks with a longitudinal engine, just like the larger BMWs.
For the BMW 120i/125i (F20/F21) B48 (2016-2019), Armytrix offers downpipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
