With the G15 coupé, followed by the G14 convertible, BMW revived the 8 Series name in 2018, absent since the E31 bowed out at the end of the 1990s. The 840i is the six-cylinder version: a B58 3.0-litre turbo straight-six, with rear-wheel drive or xDrive. This page covers cars without a particulate filter.
