Whether F82 coupé or F83 convertible, the M4 stayed in production until 2020, longer than the M3 saloon. Besides the 450 PS Competition package, the range included the 2017 M4 CS, limited to 3,000 units with 460 PS and 600 Nm, positioned between the Competition and the uncompromising GTS.
For the BMW M4 (F82/F83) Coupé/Cabriolet Single Tube OE Valve Control (2014-2019), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, gold, carbon and blue titanium. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
