Lower than the 3 Series saloon and with a wider rear track, the G22 coupé aims for sharper responses in corners. In some markets the 2.0-litre turbo four of the 420i and 430i is the B46, a variant of the B48: the cars on this page use this engine, without a particulate filter.
For the BMW 420i/430i (G22) B46 Non-OPF Coupé (2021-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, carbon and gold. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port.
