Built from 2014 to 2018 as a saloon only, the F80 M3 uses the S55 3.0-litre twin-turbo with 431 PS and 550 Nm, paired with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed M DCT dual-clutch. The Competition package, introduced mid-life, raised output to 450 PS and added revised suspension, making the saloon even sharper through corners.
For the BMW M3 (F80) Single Tube OE Valve Control (2014-2019), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, gold, carbon and blue titanium. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
