In its first production phase, from 2019 until the 2023 facelift, the G05 X5 40i uses the 340 PS B58 3.0-litre turbo, a straight-six that stays hushed on the motorway and responds promptly when you ask for an overtake. On European cars it works with a gasoline particulate filter, required by the latest Euro 6 rules, and that is the configuration covered here.
For the BMW X5 (G05) 40i OPF (2019-2023), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port.
