The G87 M2 is the smallest car in the current M line-up: a two-door coupé with the S58 twin-turbo straight-six and rear-wheel drive, built in Mexico since late 2022. In 2024 the update for the 2025 model year raised output from 460 to 480 PS, with more torque for automatic cars.
For the BMW M2 (G87) Large-Bore (2023-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, gold and carbon. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
