The M4 was born in 2014, when the two-door M cars moved into the 4 Series: the F82 coupé and F83 convertible share the mechanicals of the F80 M3, with the S55 3.0 twin-turbo inline six and rear-wheel drive.
For the BMW M4 (F82/F83) Coupé/Cabriolet Single Tube (2014-2019), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, gold and carbon. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
