The second-generation X6, the F16, arrived in 2014 and kept the first one's recipe: F15 X5 mechanicals, a coupé roofline and a sportier set-up. The xDrive35i is the six-cylinder petrol version, with the N55 3.0-litre turbo straight-six and all-wheel drive.
For the BMW X6 (F16) xDrive35i (2014-2019), Armytrix offers downpipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
