In 2021 the F97 X3 M was updated alongside the X4 M, with redesigned headlights and front end. The Competition stays at 510 PS, but the S58 straight-six gains the lightweight forged crankshaft of the G80/G82 M3 and M4 and torque rises from 600 to 650 Nm, still with M xDrive all-wheel drive.
For the BMW X3 M (F97) Electric Valve Non-OPF (2019-2024), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in carbon, matte black, blue coated and chrome silver. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
