The G29 Z4 is a two-seat roadster with a fabric roof, born from the collaboration with Toyota and built by Magna Steyr in Graz alongside the GR Supra, with which it shares its platform. The M40i is the range-topper, with the B58 3.0-litre turbo straight-six, rear-wheel drive and a weight distribution balanced between the axles.
For the BMW Z4 (G29) M40i (2018-2026), Armytrix offers downpipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
