With the fourth-generation 1 Series, the F70, BMW dropped the letter i from the badge: the range's sporty model is now called M135 xDrive. It keeps the B48 2.0-litre turbo four and all-wheel drive, now with 300 PS and 400 Nm, while the eight-speed automatic gives way to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
For the BMW M135 xDrive (F70) (2025-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, gold, carbon and blue titanium. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
