The F10 is the sixth generation of the 5 Series, BMW's large executive saloon. In the rear-wheel-drive 520i and 528i it uses the N20 2.0-litre turbo four: 184 PS in the former and 245 PS in the latter, which switched to it from the naturally aspirated six in 2011, gaining low-down torque while using less fuel.
For the BMW 520i/528i (F10) N20 Sedan RWD (2011-2016), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, carbon and gold. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
