The 2023 facelift gave the G05 X5 new headlights, a new grille and a new dashboard dominated by the large Curved Display. The 40i switched to an evolution of the B58 3.0-litre turbo backed by a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, for around 380 PS in total; this page covers it in its particulate-filter (OPF) configuration.
For the BMW X5 (G05) 40i LCI (2023-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
