As a G30 saloon or G31 Touring, the seventh-generation 5 Series uses the B48 2.0-litre turbo in the 520i and 530i, which in Europe runs with the gasoline particulate filter introduced for the latest Euro 6 rules. The 2020 facelift redesigned the lights and grille; saloon production ended in 2023 when the G60 arrived.
For the BMW 520i/530i (G30/G31) B48 OPF Sedan/Touring (2017-2024), Armytrix offers downpipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port.
