The G90 M5 is the first plug-in hybrid M5: the S68 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 works with an electric motor integrated into the gearbox, for a combined 727 PS, always with M xDrive all-wheel drive. Unveiled in 2024, it also brought back an estate version, the G99 M5 Touring.
For the BMW M5 (G90) (2025-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, blue coated, matte black, gold and carbon. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix systems are made in Taiwan in T304 stainless steel and titanium. At their heart is the valve in the silencer, opened and closed on command from the remote or the app, with a module that plugs into the car's OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
