The M340i is the M Performance version of the G20 3 Series: a B58 3.0-litre turbo straight-six, an M Sport rear differential and rear-wheel drive or xDrive depending on the market. As a G20 saloon or G21 Touring, it is the most powerful 3 Series below the M3; this page covers cars both with and without a particulate filter.
For the BMW M340i (G20/G21) Sedan/Touring (2019-), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Tips are available in chrome silver, matte black, blue coated, gold and carbon. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
