The M850i xDrive is the version with which the G15 coupé was unveiled in 2018: an N63 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 with 530 PS, all-wheel drive and a set-up aimed at fast touring rather than track days. As a G15 coupé or G14 convertible, it was the most powerful 8 Series until the M8 arrived; this page covers cars without a particulate filter.
For the BMW M850i xDrive (G14/G15) Coupé/Cabriolet Non-OPF (2018-2026), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port. Armytrix exhausts are not road approved in the European Union or Switzerland: they are intended for track use.
