With the X6, BMW launched the Sports Activity Coupé concept in 2008, and the 2019 G06 is its third generation, built in Spartanburg on the X5's underpinnings. The 40i uses the B58 3.0-litre turbo straight-six with the eight-speed automatic; this page covers cars without a particulate filter.
For the BMW X6 (G06) 40i Non-OPF (2019-2023), Armytrix offers the cat-back system with Valvetronic silencers and downpipes. Versions without a catalyst are for track use only.
Armytrix builds its exhausts in Taiwan, in T304 stainless steel and titanium, and is one of the brands that made valved exhausts affordable: the valve sends the gases through the silencer or around it, and it is controlled with the supplied remote or a smartphone app through a module plugged into the OBD port.
